About The Position
The Cosmetics Beauty Advisor works on Bloomingdale’s cosmetics floor, providing excellent service and product knowledge while building and maintaining client relationships. The role involves selling the full assortment both in-store and online, maintaining compelling merchandise presentation, and keeping the sales floor welcoming, friendly, and engaging. Advisors provide makeup application lessons, skincare consultations and treatments, and current trend advice, while prioritizing customer needs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous selling experience; cosmetics experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
