Corrugator Transfer Cart
About The Position
Operate a transfer cart to load machines and move sheet orders out. The role involves operating a buggy/transfer car on tracks between machines, collecting units of sheets or board from the corrugator machine, and delivering the appropriate stock to converting machines safely and on time. The cart requires frequent forward and backward movement, as well as moving units left and right between machine centers. Employees examine products for conformance to quality standards and complete reports accurately and on time, including production, machine-status, safety, and quality data. Duties may be expanded or changed, and the role has no supervisory responsibilities. The work environment is hot in summer and cold in winter. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and handle or feel objects; frequently talk or hear; and occasionally reach with hands and arms. The role regularly involves lifting, pushing, and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Required vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, as well as adjusting focus. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
- Knowledge of product quality specifications.
- Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities sufficient to support efficient operation.

Responsibilities
- Operate the buggy/transfer car on tracks between machines.
- Pick up units of sheets or board from the corrugator machine.
- Deliver appropriate stock or units safely and on time to the appropriate converting machines.
- Move the cart forward and backward and move units left and right between machine centers.
- Examine products to verify that they meet quality standards.
- Complete production, machine operational status, safety, and quality reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
