About The Position

The Corrugator Top Stacker is responsible for activities associated with stacking sheets from the corrugator, including equipment setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations. The position works the second shift, scheduled from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and overtime involving 12-hour shifts is required. Starting wage is $17.60 per hour. The role reports to the Corrugator Supervisor/Lead.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Read a tape measure quickly and accurately.
Calculate figures and amounts, including percentages, measurements, volume, and rate, and apply high school math concepts.
Apply common-sense understanding to written, oral, or graphic instructions and address problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Working knowledge of equipment design and capabilities and how to use that knowledge for efficient operation.
Working knowledge of product layouts, production specifications, product quality specifications, and quality standards.
May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including regularly standing, walking, talking or hearing, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Relay messages promptly to the appropriate personnel when adjustments are necessary.
Submit maintenance work orders to supervision for repairs and proactively maintain equipment.
Follow the production schedule.
Count and verify unit and inch counts.
Ensure each unit has the proper load tags.
Follow company policies and procedures, including safety requirements and good housekeeping.
Perform additional duties assigned by management.
