About The Position

The Corrugator Operator position is a full-time role on the 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) located in Atlanta Container (Forest Park, GA). The primary responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, maintaining a clean work environment, preparing rolls for splices and order changes, and diagnosing/repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems. The role also involves operating and monitoring the facility boiler, completing maintenance records, and collaborating with team members, vendors, and subcontractors. Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Requirements

• A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
• One to two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Prepare rolls for splices and order changes.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems using appropriate tools, manuals, and schematics.
• Safely operate and monitor the facility boiler, ensuring steam pressure remains above 180 PSI.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and keep supervisors informed of equipment issues and progress.
• Work effectively with team members, vendors, and subcontractors to meet maintenance goals and support plant operations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support overall maintenance and production efficiency.
