About The Position
This posting is for a Corrector position for the Introduction to Organismal Biology course (BIO 1131) for the Fall 2026 semester. The primary responsibility is grading, with an expected 83 hours dedicated to this task. The position is part of the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Successful completion of BIO 1131 or equivalent course(s)
- Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops
- Excellent working knowledge of the principles of evolutionary biology, population genetics, and ecology
- Skilled at reading student answers, interpreting them and providing thoughtful feedback
- Mastery of English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities
- Grading of student answers for BIO 1131
