About The Position
This is a specific course posting for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for BIO4922, Section ABCDE, during the 2026 Fall Semester in the Faculty of Science, Department of Biology. The TA will be responsible for grading, which involves collecting student responses to rubric questions submitted weekly via Brightspace. The TA will then prepare an Excel file with student names, questions, and answers for each section and submit it to the section coordinators. The supervisor for this position is Odette Laneuville.
Requirements
- Successful completion of BIO+BIM 4920 or course equivalent(s).
- Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
- Must be an undergraduate or graduate student.
Responsibilities
- Collecting students' responses to rubric questions submitted weekly.
- Preparing an Excel file including student names, questions, and answers for each section.
- Submitting the Excel file to each section coordinator on Thursdays before 10 am.
- Grading student work (86 hours allocated).
