About The Position

This posting is for a Corrector (CUPE) position for the ANIMAL PHYSIOLOGY II course (BIO3302) during the 2026 Fall Semester at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Science, Department of Biology. Requirements

  • Successful completion of BIO3302 or equivalent course(s).
  • Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
  • A high level of comfort with the comparative physiology (specifically cardiorespiratory physiology, ionic and osmotic regulation, and thermal physiology) of (mostly) vertebrate animals, typically meaning graduate-level work in comparative physiology.
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student.

Responsibilities

  • Grading of student work for BIO3302 (Animal Physiology II).
  • Completion of mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Potentially other tasks as negotiated with the supervising professor.
