About The Position

This position is for a Corrector (CUPE) for the POPULATION GENETICS course (BIO3119, Section A00) during the 2026 Fall Semester. The primary responsibility is grading, with an expected 83 hours dedicated to this task out of a total of 84 work hours. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a rate of $30.53/hour, while graduate students will receive $36.63/hour. These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change upon ratification of a new collective agreement. The language of work is English.

Requirements

• Successful completion of BIO3119 or equivalent course(s).
• Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
• All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
