About The Position

This position is for a Corrector for the Advanced Auditing course (ADM4341) during the 2026 Spring/Summer Semester at the Telfer School of Management. The role involves marking midterm, individual cases, and group cases. The total expected work hours are 34, with an hourly rate of $30.53 for undergraduate students and $36.63 for graduate students. The position requires the candidate to be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course and have access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.

Requirements

Strong understanding of auditing
Ability to apply grading rubrics and provide clear, structured feedback
Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage workload efficiently
Minimum C.G.P.A. of 6.0
Minimum grade of A- in ADM 4341 and ADM3349 or their equivalent
In-depth knowledge of financial statement auditing
In-depth knowledge of Canadian and International Auditing Standards, of ASPE and IFRS
Must be located in Ottawa for the entire duration of the course (with the exception of official University holidays), including through the grading of the final exam and calculation of final grades by the professor.
Access to a computer, internet, microphone and webcam.
