About The Position
This position is located at NC Correctional Institution for Women, Raleigh NC. This is a multi-custody female correctional facility. Job duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Key Duties Included: - Gather socioeconomic information, education, substance abuse history, explaining terms of the sentence, and providing general orientation to prison processes and procedures. - Record data and maintain all offender records.
Requirements
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of correctional or human services experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of interviewing techniques.
- Documented one year of correctional/ human services experience.
