About The Position

The Corporate Site Security Officer is an on-site member of the Corporate Security team in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role protects people and property by controlling site access, monitoring security and fire suppression systems, patrolling the facility, documenting incidents, and responding to emergencies. Duties also include providing first aid, moving quickly on foot throughout the facility, and assisting with CTPAT compliance when applicable.

Requirements

• High school degree or higher.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid training.
• Effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivation, and collaboration skills; ability to work as a team player, deal with obstacles, and partner with leadership to identify and resolve problems.
• Physical fitness is essential.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
• Ability to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing.

Nice To Haves

• Security, law enforcement, or military-related skills.
• C-TPAT and/or regulatory compliance experience.
• Proficiency in a martial art and/or other defensive skill.

Responsibilities

• Direct visitors and control site access across various entry posts.
• Monitor CCTV, security systems, and fire suppression systems.
• Patrol and secure areas inside and outside the facility.
• Document security- and safety-related incidents.
• Administer first aid and act as a first responder to crisis situations when needed.
• Respond quickly on foot to locations throughout the facility.
• Assist with CTPAT compliance if applicable.
