About The Position

The Corporate Site Security Officer is an on-site member of the Corporate Security team in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role helps protect the facility, its people, and its assets by managing site access, monitoring security systems, patrolling the premises, documenting incidents, and responding to emergencies. The officer may also assist with CTPAT compliance when applicable. The position requires the ability to respond quickly on foot throughout the facility, administer first aid, and serve as a first responder to crisis situations when needed. Applicants must complete required pre-employment screening and pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing. The position offers an annual full-time salary range of $30,000 to $48,300. Requirements

High school degree or higher.
Basic Microsoft Office computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
CPR, AED, and First Aid training.
Effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, motivation, collaboration, and teamwork skills; ability to deal with obstacles and partner with leadership to identify and resolve problems.
Physical fitness and ability to respond quickly on foot throughout the facility.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
Ability to pass any state-required training or other qualifications for licensing.

Nice To Haves

Some security, law enforcement, or military-related skills are desired but not required.
C-TPAT and/or regulatory compliance experience is a plus.
Proficiency in a martial art and/or other defensive skill is desirable.

Responsibilities

Direct visitors and control site access across various entry posts.
Monitor CCTV, security systems, and fire suppression systems.
Patrol and secure areas inside and outside the facility.
Document security- and safety-related incidents.
Administer first aid and act as a first responder to crisis situations when needed.
Respond quickly on foot to locations throughout the facility.
Assist with CTPAT compliance if applicable.
