About The Position

Valcor Security is hiring Corporate Security Officers for a technology client operating under a government contract in Hawthorne. The post protects personnel, property, access points and sensitive operations. U.S. military service or prior law-enforcement experience is required by the contract. This is a full-time W-2 position with paid sick leave and overtime paid when worked. The pay rate is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour. The schedule can be day, swing, or night shift, with the exact assignment confirmed at the interview.

Requirements

• U.S. military veteran (DD214) or prior law-enforcement experience
• At least 2 years of security experience
• Active California BSIS Guard Card
• Ability to pass the contract's background screening
• Reliable transportation and on-time attendance

Responsibilities

• Control access and verify employees, visitors and vendors
• Patrol the site every hour and document each round in our Belfry app
• Protect confidential information and sensitive areas
• Respond to incidents by the post orders and emergency procedures
• Work with site leadership, client management and Valcor operations
