About The Position

Maintain a safe and secure environment at the Corporate Office facility. Monitor the ingress and egress of executives, visitors, vendors, and contractors using daily logs and the badge system. Monitor CCTV and alarm systems as necessary, and conduct numerous security patrols around the facility during the shift. Complete necessary informational and incident reports in a timely manner, and maintain clear communication upward, downward, and laterally as appropriate. Work cooperatively with coworkers, visitors, and the public in the company’s best interest, supporting teamwork and a positive work atmosphere. Maintain an immaculate appearance and wear a nametag at all times. Follow rules, regulations, and procedures for carrying and using a firearm, and demonstrate proficiency in using, handling, and training with an assigned or authorized weapon. Keep confidential information concerning company security and the professional and private business of company executives and other team members.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or successful completion of a GED Certificate.
• Ability to become CPR/AED Certified is required.
• Demonstrate and understand management’s goals and objectives.
• Working knowledge of alarm systems and security monitoring equipment, and ability to be trained to fully utilize their functions.
• Adequate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software programs.
• Must not have been convicted of a crime requiring registration pursuant to NRS 179C.100.
• Must maintain a valid Nevada driver’s license.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada CCW and carry only authorized or issued firearms.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Two years of experience in Security, Law Enforcement, or the Military preferred.
