About The Position

The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for recruiting corporate salary and skilled trades employees. This role involves reviewing applications, selecting candidates for interviews based on job history and experience, arranging interviews, performing reference and background checks, conducting interviews, making employment offers, and responding to applicant inquiries. The recruiter will also organize recruitment events, manage internal offers and movements, communicate with third-party temp agencies, complete special projects, provide front desk coverage as needed, assist with new employee orientation, and maintain accurate applicant tracking. Staying current with employment laws and regulations is crucial, as is performing all tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of technical and functional experience.
  • Knowledgeable of current state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiar with using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to identify additional talent pipelines and work to establish them within the communities that we work.
  • Must always remain professional when around prospective applicants.
  • Must have a working understanding of state and federal ADA regulations as relates to recruiting process.
  • Must be able to perform each essential function and responsibility of the job satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit corporate salary and skilled trades employees.
  • Review applications using established criteria.
  • Select applicants for interviews based on job history, background, and experience.
  • Arrange interviews.
  • Perform reference checks.
  • Conduct criminal background checks, as appropriate.
  • Interview applicants.
  • Make employment offers to qualified candidates.
  • Respond to applicant calls regarding application status in a timely manner.
  • Organize recruitment events.
  • Manage internal offers and movement within all locations and partner companies.
  • Manage direct communication with third-party temp agencies.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the direct manager.
  • Fill in for front desk coverage as needed.
  • Assist with conducting weekly new employee orientation.
  • Maintain accurate application and tracking through the applicant tracking system.
  • Stay current with state and federal employment laws and regulations related to hiring.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate, and highly productive manner according to company policy.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by manager.
