Engineers Without Borders USA•Denver, CO
•$78,000 - $88,000•Hybrid

About The Position

Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) is a nonprofit organization that builds thriving communities through engineering projects that help meet basic human needs. Its student and professional volunteers partner with under-resourced communities in the United States and internationally on community-driven, climate-conscious infrastructure projects, while developing engineering and leadership skills. As EWB-USA approaches its 25th anniversary, the Corporate Philanthropy Officer will help expand the organization's impact and support the long-term sustainability of its programs by developing high-value corporate relationships and connecting companies and employees with its mission. Reporting to the Development Director, the officer secures funding and manages a portfolio of corporate prospects and investors. Corporate partners contribute at least $25,000 and may contribute six figures annually. The role leads relationship strategy and revenue growth, makes direct financial solicitations, develops partnership concepts and proposals, and works across Development, Communications, program teams, leadership, and other stakeholders. It also supports corporate impact storytelling and creates opportunities for partner involvement through employee engagement, skills-based volunteering, conferences, and program investment. The position is hybrid or fully remote, with a preference for Colorado residents. EWB-USA's head office is in Denver, Colorado. Remote work locations may be considered in states where the organization already has employees (Colorado, Delaware, Montana, Texas, Oregon, Florida, Michigan, and Ohio); applicants located in California, Washington, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Minnesota will not be considered. Occasional travel to Denver and domestic travel of up to 10% are required. The hiring range is $78,000–$88,000 annually, depending on experience.
