About The Position

The Corporate Pharmacy Intern collaborates with cross-functional corporate pharmacy teams across Walgreens to support strategic decision-making and departmental initiatives. The intern contributes to projects aligned with business goals and provides analytical insights. Selected pharmacy interns spend 12 weeks at Walgreens’ corporate headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois. Housing is available for non-local candidates who live more than 55 miles from Deerfield.

Requirements

Must be a current student enrolled in an accredited school of Pharmacy program.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Willingness to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes, both within and outside the state.

Responsibilities

Support strategy development for the assigned business unit through research, analysis, and collaboration.
Use data tools and business intelligence resources to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
Provide operational and analytical support to internal teams and enhance cross-divisional coordination.
Collect and share feedback to improve pharmacy programs and patient and team member experiences.
Support pharmacy execution across pharmacy teams.
Coordinate project plans and status updates to ensure tasks are completed on time.
Identify opportunities to improve policies and processes.
Assist in developing communications, job aids, and standard operating procedures.
Contribute to strategic projects, deliver outcomes aligned with business priorities, and present findings to leadership.
Prepare and deliver presentations to internal stakeholders and leadership summarizing findings, recommendations, or project updates.
