About The Position

This year-long, master’s-level Corporate Internship provides students with hands-on experience supporting strategic and operational healthcare initiatives across TriHealth. Interns partner with leaders and cross-functional teams on projects involving process improvement, patient experience, data analysis, education, operational efficiency, and program development, while gaining exposure to healthcare leadership and system operations. The intern serves as a short-term staff assistant in an assigned area, gaining knowledge and business expertise in the subject matter. Duties vary depending on the service line, business unit, or functional area and may include administrative, clerical, research and analysis, service support, and clinical service or support. The internship provides a practical cooperative learning experience for a student interested in healthcare. The position is located at 625 Eden Park and is scheduled for 24 working hours weekly, Monday through Friday, on the day shift.

Requirements

Some high school; no degree achieved is required.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Ability to work in a professional business environment.
Willingness to follow instructions and learn about the assigned functional area.

Nice To Haves

Currently enrolled in an approved program for a specific field of study in a related field.
Up to 1 year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

Perform general entry-level departmental duties or special projects as assigned.
Provide administrative, clerical, research, analysis, service support, and/or clinical service or support, depending on the assigned area.
Follow instructions and learn about the assigned functional area.
Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams on healthcare initiatives and projects involving process improvement, patient experience, data analysis, education, operational efficiency, and program development.
