About The Position

The Corporate Partnership & Group Sales Coordinator is responsible for generating and supporting revenue across corporate partnerships, sponsorships, group experiences, and ticket sales opportunities throughout Assiniboine Park Conservancy. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Sales, this role combines outbound sales activities, including prospect research, lead generation, sales calls, site visits, proposal support, and follow-up, with the management of high-volume inbound inquiries. The position is responsible for corporate large group ticket sales, group tent rentals, and identifying new revenue opportunities across APC attractions, events, venues, and experiences. The Corporate Partnership & Group Sales Coordinator also plays a key role in the administration, coordination, and fulfillment of client and partner commitments. Working closely with internal stakeholders across Education & Programming, Park Hospitality, Marketing, Event Operations, Visitor Experience, and other departments, the role coordinates experiences such as zoo tours, picnics, catered gatherings, corporate family events, appreciation events, and venue-based rentals. The position supports the execution of sponsorship and partnership benefits, including ticket fulfillment, on-site activations, and other contractual deliverables, ensuring a seamless experience for clients, partners, and guests while maintaining strong internal collaboration.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality & Tourism Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of non-profit, entertainment, tourism or hospitality experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years sales, marketing or customer service experience.
  • Must possess a valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License and have access to own transportation.
  • Ability to travel across Canada and North America, as required.
  • Excellent proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and a demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new software programs.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large group sales, tent reservations, gift card sales, and related guest experiences for attraction admissions and special events, including client communications, account management, and fulfillment coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify new partnership and group sales opportunities, while also responding to and managing a high volume of inbound inquiries.
  • Generate revenue by cultivating new and existing client relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting APC attractions, events, group experiences, and partnership offerings.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, prospect pipelines, and client information, while preparing proposals, tracking opportunities, and supporting the achievement of annual revenue targets.
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of partnership agreements, including ticket allocations, hospitality experiences, on-site activations, and other contractual deliverables.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external partners to plan, communicate, and coordinate logistics for sponsor activations, client events, group experiences, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Must work flexible hours, as required, in order to coordinate and execute events, including evenings and weekends.
