About The Position

Marriott Vacations Worldwide’s corporate internship program offers in-person, on-site experience in a designated department at a corporate office. The program is available in 3- or 6-month durations and includes guidance from department leaders, sessions with senior executives, cross-department shadowing, interviews with senior leaders, a business innovation project, online sessions about MVW business areas, and connections with fellow interns.

This Information Technology internship is scheduled for Summer 2027 at MVW headquarters in Orlando, Florida, with a stated start in May 2027. The intern will provide front-line support at the corporate Tech Bar, assist with device and PC deployments, and troubleshoot common technical issues in a walk-up environment. Candidates must be actively pursuing a college degree at any level in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Technology. Housing and relocation are the student’s responsibility.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a college degree at any level.
• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for technology.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist with department-specific day-to-day operations.
• Support project planning and execution under the guidance of team members.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
• Gather and analyze data to support projects, reports, or presentations.
• Provide front-line IT support at the corporate Tech Bar, serving as a primary point of contact for end users.
• Assist with PC refreshes, device deployments, and hardware and software setup activities.
• Deliver customer service and represent the IT organization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common technical issues for employees in a walk-up support environment.
• Shadow experienced team members before independently supporting end-user requests.
