About The Position

The Corporate Human Resources Manager serves as the primary HR business partner for the corporate headquarters population while also acting as a resource and mentor to HR teams across Newly Weds Foods manufacturing facilities. This role is responsible for employee relations, employee engagement, talent management, compensation administration, HR operations, and leadership of the corporate HR team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations matters and investigations.
  • Experience leading or supervising HR staff.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Manufacturing or food manufacturing experience.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations.
  • Experience with employee engagement and talent development programs.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for corporate employees and managers.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations matters, performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and policy interpretation.
  • Conduct and oversee workplace investigations and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, surveys, action planning, and recognition programs.
  • Partner with leadership to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Develop programs that support employee retention, development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Talent Acquisition Specialist and oversee all corporate recruiting activities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and workforce planning strategies.
  • Support the development of talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience and effective onboarding process.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support compensation administration, annual merit processes, and organizational changes.
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, and other HR functions to ensure seamless employee support.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Directly supervise the Talent Acquisition Specialist, HR Generalist, Compensation Analyst/Generalist, and Receptionist.
  • Provide coaching, development, and performance management for direct reports.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to HR professionals across manufacturing facilities.
  • Participate in special projects and strategic HR initiatives as assigned.
