About The Position

The USGA is hiring interns for short-term corporate hospitality support assignments at the 2027 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links and the 2027 U.S. Women’s Open at Inverness Club. A limited number of interns may be selected to support both championships; assignments will be confirmed during the selection process. Interns will help execute corporate hospitality venues and gain hands-on exposure to planning, client management, hospitality operations, and coordination with USGA departments. They will represent the USGA professionally while communicating with clients, vendors, volunteers, and internal teams, responding to needs in real time, and helping deliver a smooth, service-focused championship experience before, during, and after championship week. Before the championship, interns will assist with venue setup and build-out, facility cleaning, inspections, and client load-in. During championship week, they will support daily operations, including access control, venue cleanliness, logistics, client requests, and troubleshooting. After the championship, they will help with client load-out, venue breakdown, and organizing remaining materials. The role includes a variety of hands-on operational tasks, physical work, and cleaning. Dates depend on assignment: June 1–21, 2027, for the U.S. Open in Monterey, California; May 26–June 7, 2027, for the U.S. Women’s Open in Toledo, Ohio; or May 26–June 21, 2027, if assigned to both. The position is on-site at the assigned championship location. Housing is provided for selected interns. Pay is $18.00 per hour.
