About The Position

The Corporate Hospitality Support Intern supports the behind-the-scenes execution of corporate hospitality venues at the 2027 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links and/or the 2027 U.S. Women’s Open at Inverness Club. The role provides hands-on exposure to planning, client management, hospitality operations, and the USGA departments involved in championship execution. Interns represent the USGA professionally while communicating with clients, vendors, volunteers, and internal teams, troubleshooting needs in real time, and helping deliver a smooth, service-focused hospitality experience before, during, and after championship week. Before the championship, interns help prepare hospitality venues through setup, build-out, facility cleaning, inspections, and client load-in. During championship week, they support daily operations such as access control, venue cleanliness, logistics, client requests, and real-time troubleshooting, coordinating with staff, vendors, and volunteers. After the championship, they assist with client load-out, venue breakdown, and organization of remaining materials. The work includes a variety of hands-on operational tasks, physical work, and cleaning. Assignment dates vary by championship and are confirmed during selection. The 2027 U.S. Open assignment runs June 1–21, 2027, in Monterey, California; the 2027 U.S. Women’s Open assignment runs May 26–June 7, 2027, in Toledo, Ohio. Candidates selected for both championships are anticipated to commit from May 26–June 21, 2027. The position is on-site at the assigned championship location. Housing is provided, and travel from Toledo to Monterey is covered by the USGA for interns assigned to both championships. Pay is $18.00 per hour.
