Corporate FP&A Manager – Finance Transformation

About The Position

NBCUniversal is seeking a high-performing finance professional to help shape the finance experience across the company. This role is part of the Corporate HQ team, supports total-company consolidation, and has visibility to senior leadership, including the NBCUniversal CFO and EVP of FP&A. The position works with finance teams across TV and streaming, studios, and parks, as well as across operational finance, FP&A, revenue, cost, business-unit, and consolidation functions. NBCUniversal is undertaking a multi-year finance transformation involving new systems and redesigned processes. A key initiative is transitioning FP&A and operational planning to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The person in this role will collaborate with finance and IT teams to design and develop SAC planning and analytics solutions. The role will also help improve the finance organization through process design, report and dashboard creation, AI use cases, and system or solution training and administration. Seniority and compensation, as well as performance expectations, will depend on the candidate’s experience level; the role may be at Manager or Senior Manager level.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or another relevant area.
At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, operational finance, or related roles.
Strong business acumen and understanding of finance and FP&A methodologies, processes, and systems.
Exceptional ability to visually represent financial insights clearly and informatively.
Experience using data analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAC, Anaplan, or similar.
Problem-solving and process-design skills.
Visual-design skills for reports and dashboards.
Data, finance, and analytics systems savviness.
Collaboration and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with various teams to design and build SAC planning and analytics solutions.
Design and build SAC models and dashboards for Corporate FP&A and other teams across the company.
Lead SAC training sessions and dashboard-building workshops after becoming sufficiently familiar with the tool.
Own continuous FP&A and operational finance process improvement, including seeking out and adopting new features and technologies.
Potentially manage the Corporate FP&A system instance as a business user administrator.
Take on other responsibilities and projects as needed as priorities shift.
