About The Position
Ball HealthCare Services, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Accounts Receivable/SNF Biller for its corporate office in Mobile, Alabama. The role handles billing functions for all payer sources, including private pay, Medicare A and B, Medicaid, hospice, HMO, and insurance claims. The candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong follow-through and communication skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school graduate or GED.
- At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, accounting, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or related education and training.
- Detail-oriented, with good follow-through and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and electronically file Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and insurance claims.
- Post remittance advices and cash receipts for all payer types.
- Verify eligibility and maintain documentation necessary to support medical claims.
- Research and correct billing issues.
- Communicate daily with assigned facilities and answer billing questions as needed.
- Analyze accounts receivable reports and use sound judgment when working problem claims.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
