About The Position

We're Camping, a small-but-mighty video agency based in Barcelona, helping B2B tech companies transform from 'boring' to heartfelt and build a brand that matters. We write for an industry that mostly takes itself too seriously and we have fun proving it doesn't have to. We're looking for a Copywriter to help us keep the work sharp, the voice distinctive, and the humour intact. This role can be full-time staff (Barcelona-based) or freelance/contractor with regular Barcelona presence. We are looking for a Copywriter who can make B2B SaaS audiences laugh, think, and click - in that order. You'll lead audiovisual content from creative development to final delivery, working closely with our Head of Creative and Head of Strategy. Your day-to-day will be writing video scripts, ad copy, headlines, landing pages, and social, plus the occasional absurd concept that somehow survives the client review. The single most important thing you'll bring is a distinctive voice. We hire writers because of how they see the world, not because they tick a list of clients.

Requirements

  • A very dry, slightly British sense of humour - you understand absurdism, deadpan, restraint, and the difference between funny and trying-to-be-funny.
  • Proven experience writing scripts for video content, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and fresh, funny projects.
  • Native-level fluency in English, with a strong command of word play, humour, and clear cross-cultural communication.
  • Ability to transform complex or technical topics into simple, engaging, and entertaining narratives.
  • Strong understanding of tone, brand voice, and storytelling for B2B SaaS or similar industries.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the right to work in Spain.

Nice To Haves

  • Some Spanish would be a bonus.
  • Understanding of marketing strategies and audience engagement techniques.
  • Experience creating content for social media platforms, including knowledge of best practices for video formats and styles.
  • Familiarity with video production workflows, including editing, motion graphics, and sound design.
  • A background in comedy writing or scriptwriting.

  • Client collaboration - work closely with clients to understand their goals, tone, and audience, ensuring content aligns with their vision while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Innovative storytelling - transform technical or dry B2B SaaS topics into visually compelling and genuinely entertaining stories.
  • Multi-platform content creation - develop scripts and concepts for a variety of formats, including social media assets, organic content, and traditional advertising campaigns.
  • Research & insights - stay up-to-date with industry trends, and creative styles to ensure content feels fresh and relevant.
