About The Position

GFI Digital is an office technology solutions provider offering managed IT and print solutions, networking, security, and unified communications. The Copier Service Technician installs, services, and repairs office equipment at customer sites. The role includes travel to customer locations to troubleshoot equipment and repair or replace components, as well as managing personal parts inventory and meeting productivity standards. Requirements

• Mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Excellent customer-facing skills and a positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Precise attention to detail, strong organization, and a customer-focused attitude.
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with the ability to be an ideal team player.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair a variety of office equipment onsite.
• Travel to and from customer sites to troubleshoot, repair, and replace components as necessary.
• Maintain, manage, and reconcile personal parts inventory.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards for assigned products.
• Understand and use problem escalation procedures.
• Complete assigned online computer-based training.
• Demonstrate appropriate technical skills for repair and service of designated equipment, including installation and customer training.
• Attend scheduled training to acquire or increase working knowledge of office equipment service and repair.
