About The Position

The Coordinator, Supply Chain is responsible for the supply chain operation at a specific hospital. The position reports to the Regional Supply Chain Director and plans, organizes, develops, and directs the hospital’s Supply Chain Management Department, considering all patient age groups. The coordinator supports purchasing services in accordance with corporate directives, assists with purchase orders for equipment, services, and supplies, and advises hospital departmental managers on supply chain needs. The role also provides technical support for the hospital’s Lawson procurement system, manages local hospital recalls, and serves as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Five years of purchasing/procurement experience in a hospital environment.
• Supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business.
• Lawson procurement experience.
• Workday or supply chain experience.
• Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the hospital’s Supply Chain Management Department, considering all patient age groups.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures that guide and support purchasing services in conjunction with corporate directives.
• Assist with the authorization and execution of purchase orders for equipment, services, and supplies for the hospital.
• Support, advise, and assist hospital departmental managers with supply chain needs.
• Provide technical support for the hospital’s Lawson procurement system.
• Manage local hospital recalls.
• Serve as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.
