About The Position

The Coordinator, Supply Chain is responsible for the supply chain operation at a specific hospital and reports to the Regional Supply Chain Director. The role plans, organizes, develops, and directs the hospital’s Supply Chain Management Department, considering all patient age groups. It supports purchasing services in accordance with corporate directives and assists hospital departments with supply chain needs.

Requirements

• Five years of purchasing/procurement experience in a hospital environment, with supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business.
• Experience with Lawson procurement, Workday, or supply chain.
• Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP).

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct the hospital’s Supply Chain Management Department, considering all patient age groups.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures that guide and support purchasing services in conjunction with corporate directives.
• Assist with the authorization and execution of purchase orders for equipment, services, and supplies for the hospital.
• Support, advise, and assist departmental managers with supply chain needs.
• Provide technical support for the hospital’s Lawson procurement system.
• Manage local hospital recalls.
• Serve as backup to the Regional Director of Supply Chain.
