About The Position

The Coordinator, Centralized Leasing supports JBG SMITH’s residential centralized leasing process. As a member of the Centralized Leasing team, this role handles applicant screening and qualification, generates new and renewal leases, coordinates employee housing agreements, and oversees processes involving housing authorities. The coordinator works with applicants, future residents, and site teams to help ensure leasing processes are smooth, accurate, and responsive. The position pays an annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000, plus a discretionary bonus. Compensation decisions depend on factors including the position’s scope and responsibilities, experience, work location, education and training, skills, internal equity, market data, and business considerations.

Requirements

Proficiency in using Yardi software.
Strong understanding of screening policies and the lease generation process.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle the applicant screening and qualification process within Yardi.
Understand screening policies and clearly explain the leasing process to prospects.
Respond to applicant questions and issues within CRM IQ.
Help ensure a smooth process for applicants and future residents.
Generate all new leases within Yardi and ensure lease charges are correct and compliant.
Generate occupancy and ancillary agreements for employees and track employee housing details in Yardi.
Set up accounts with housing authorities and work with site teams on documentation and the overall process.
Generate all renewal leases within Yardi and ensure lease charges are correct and compliant.
