About The Position

The Coordinator, Alumni & Development advances the College’s mission by coordinating alumni outreach, annual giving campaigns, events, and data management. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Coordinator works with campus partners—including Public Relations, Marketing, Athletics, faculty, and others—to build alumni connections and expand annual financial support of the College. The role develops alumni communications and engagement by interviewing alumni and students and creating content for newsletters, press releases, social media, and website features. It uses digital trends, video, and social media to foster interactive dialogue with graduates. The Coordinator supports annual fund campaigns and donor stewardship, maintains graduate records and fundraising-system data, and helps identify prospects for future major gifts or leadership roles. The position also develops accessible, cost-conscious engagement opportunities and coordinates celebrations, reunions, regional gatherings, and virtual networking. It builds connections among faculty, student groups, alumni volunteers, and local employers to support alumni networks, workforce connections, corporate giving, sponsorships, and customized workforce partnerships. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; prior professional experience is not required. The position has a hybrid schedule with remote-work flexibility. Evening and weekend activity is inherent to the role, with flexible scheduling to make up for time spent at after-hours events. Local and regional travel is expected, and a valid driver’s license is required.
