About The Position

CAD Industries ferroviaires is an ambitious Quebec-based company that has been operating for over 60 years, specializing in the repair, conversion, and refurbishment of rolling railway equipment (all types of railcars and locomotives) that has workshops and offices in Montreal (Lachine area) and in Alberta (under the Caltrax banner). Over the years, our mission has evolved to become a responsible organization focused on repairing and extending the life of the equipment entrusted to us by our clients or, in many cases, modernizing it and quite literally giving it a second life. Through their projects, our teams design equipment that meets the needs of these same clients, who operate in both freight and passenger transportation. Within the HSE Quality team, your primary mission will be to lead and coordinate the NCR/MRB (Non-Conformity Report / Material Review Board) process to ensure control of non-conformities, traceability of decisions, and reduction of NCR aging. You will be responsible for supervising the quarantine area, coordinating stakeholders (Procurement, Engineering, Production, Projects), and maintaining quality flow discipline. The position reports directly to the Supplier Quality Manager, who provides direction, prioritization, and oversight of activities related to the NCR/MRB process, which is essential to ensure product compliance, prevent operational deviations, and support customer project performance.
