Requirements

  • Completed and verifiable Bachelor's Degree (Medicine)
  • Intermediate English
  • 3 years of experience as an Occupational Health Manager
  • Advanced knowledge of Federal Labor Law
  • Advanced knowledge of First Aid Equipment Management
  • Advanced knowledge of First Aid

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that regulations in Occupational Health derived from Official Mexican Standards, KORE Requirements, and any other document signed by the organization are identified, disseminated, and applied in the Business Unit to guarantee the company's regulatory compliance.
  • Develop a Health Risk Management program to identify, analyze, evaluate, and control potential impacts on collaborators due to the performance of their duties.
  • Establish and Implement a program for the reduction of General Illnesses and Professional Illnesses in personnel, developing the necessary actions to mitigate their frequency and the number of lost days, generating the necessary statistics and reports for this purpose.
  • Develop strategies to guarantee the Business Unit that personnel have an optimal state of health for work, activating measures and campaigns for prevention, health care, activation, and physical well-being of human resources, based on the identification of health risks to which collaborators are exposed due to their work activities.
  • Implement the actions and measures required for the elimination, substitution, or modification of equipment, areas, facilities, processes, maneuvers, etc., that have the potential to cause ergonomic harm to the collaborator's health due to exposure, repetition, or conditions of the area, equipment, tools, process, etc., based on the evaluation of health risks.
  • Identify training and development requirements to develop and promote among personnel topics related to Occupational Health, Hygiene, and Ergonomics, as well as communicate and disseminate topics and issues related to this subject among collaborators.
  • Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents that occur in the business unit, as well as in campaigns for their control, to identify causes, groups, positions, or trends and activate, on your own and with the participation of personnel, programs for the reduction of accidents and incidents from the Occupational Health perspective.
  • Adequately administer and manage the Medical Service in the Business Unit, as well as the allocated budget and resources, for the fulfillment of established programs and the achievement of established performance indicators and objectives.
