About The Position

Responsible for providing leadership for clinical pharmacy services for patients receiving treatment within the assigned specialty team. The role aligns Clinical Pharmacists with an assigned patient population, medical team, or designated specialty area within the hospital and/or ambulatory clinics. It includes active participation in related education and research activities and responsibility for the overall effectiveness of designated clinical pharmacists.

Requirements

• One of the following: Doctor of Pharmacy degree (or equivalent); bachelor's degree in Pharmacy plus a clinically oriented master's in Pharmacy; or board certification.
• One of the following: completion of residency or fellowship training, or experience deemed equivalent to residency or fellowship training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff, pharmacy residents, and students.
• Knowledge and understanding of general hospital and outpatient clinic operations.
• Ability to integrate clinical services and educational activities.
• Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for the same.
