About The Position

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Cook. The role is responsible for preparing high-quality food according to standard recipes and special diet orders. The Cook works with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply needs, secure items in time for food preparation, store leftovers properly, and maintain inventories.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members.
• Self-motivated, organized, and professional.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality food according to standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply needs.

• Ensure leftovers are stored correctly.
