About The Position
This position actively participates in workflow within the Nutrition Service Department, including food preparation, delivery, or service to customers. Duties include setting up, preparing food, cleaning and sanitizing work areas, dishes, wares, and equipment, controlling inventory, rotating products, labeling items properly, and following safe food-handling practices. The position is accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are unavailable.
Requirements
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
- Food Handlers Permit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver, or serve food to customers.
- Set up and prepare food.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, dishes, wares, and equipment.
- Control inventory and rotate products.
- Ensure proper labeling and safe food-handling practices.
- Oversee operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are unavailable.
