About The Position
This position actively participates in the Nutrition Service Department workflow, including food preparation, delivery, or service to customers. Work includes setup, cleanup, and sanitation of work areas, dishes, wares, and equipment; inventory control; product rotation; proper labeling; and safe food handling. The Cook is accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are unavailable. The schedule is 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with weekends required.
Requirements
- Food Handlers Permit.
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, deliver, or serve food to customers.
- Set up and clean work areas, dishes, wares, and equipment.
- Sanitize work areas, dishes, wares, and equipment.
- Perform inventory control and product rotation.
- Label products properly and follow safe food handling practices.
- Oversee operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are unavailable.
