About The Position
The Cook prepares a diverse menu that reflects residents’ dietary preferences and restrictions, while providing high-quality dietary services in compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. The role maintains the kitchen and dining areas and interacts compassionately with residents, fostering a warm and supportive environment grounded in love, compassion, and dignity. The Cook also participates in ongoing learning and development through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Manager certification.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

- Prepare a diverse menu that incorporates dietary preferences and accommodates restrictions.
- Provide high-quality dietary services while complying with safety and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain the kitchen, dining areas, and other food service areas.

- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
