About The Position
The Cook prepares a diverse menu that accommodates residents’ dietary preferences and restrictions. The role supports high-quality dietary services while following safety and sanitation protocols, maintains kitchen and dining areas, and engages with residents in a compassionate manner that reflects the values of love, compassion, and dignity. The Cook also participates in ongoing learning and development through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
Requirements
- Current ServSafe Manager certification.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a diverse menu that incorporates dietary preferences and accommodates dietary restrictions.
- Provide high-quality dietary services while complying with safety and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain food service areas, including the kitchen and dining areas.
- Engage with residents compassionately and help cultivate a warm, supportive environment.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
