About The Position

Kraft Heinz in Cedar Rapids is seeking a highly skilled, flexible operator who can work in multiple positions as needed. The Tub Cook safely and accurately combines and prepares ingredients from the prep and spice areas according to recipes, helping produce quality soups and other products. The role is based at the Cedar Rapids facility and works Monday through Thursday, 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

Check soup viscosity.
Wash and sanitize kettles after each formula to ensure a clean surface for the next product run.
Process the daily schedule by referring to recipes and coordinating with the prep department.
Complete paperwork, IQS entries, and inspections.
Load ingredients into the kettle.
Take samples to Quality Assurance.
Retrieve and return containers from prep and blanching.
Verify product quality, item numbers, weights, and HACCP checks.
Follow required safe work practices, including the use of PPE and JSA procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Follow food safety policies, safety procedures, and Q-RMP standards as defined by the accountability list document.
Ensure quality products are being packaged.
