About The Position

Clean2TheKore is hiring two Cooks to work in the kitchen at Parkridge Valley Hospital in Chattanooga. The Cook prepares meals for patients and staff, follows menus and standard recipes, and helps keep the kitchen clean, safe, and organized. This is an on-site position with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., approximately 36 hours per week across three shifts. The role is offered as W-2 employment through Clean2TheKore.

Requirements

Able to work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Able to stand for most of the shift.
Have a Food Handler or ServSafe card, or be willing to obtain one.
Have reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

One year of cooking experience in a restaurant, hospital, school, or other commercial kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals using standard recipes and portion sizes.
Ensure food is ready on time for each meal service.
Follow HACCP food-safety practices, sanitation procedures, and temperature requirements.
Keep workstations, coolers, and storage areas clean and labeled.
Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and patient-privacy rules.
Work as a team with other kitchen staff.
