About The Position

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is recruiting a hospitality-focused Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The role is part-time, with hours from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The listed wage is $29.00–$32.00, based on shift differentials.

Requirements

• Hold a current nursing license valid in the state where the role is worked.
• Be willing to be available for any or all emergencies regarding the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and family and social activities, while promoting independent lifestyles.
• Identify resident medical and behavioral changes; develop and monitor care plans and reassess each resident.
• Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services about community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
• Provide nursing care according to physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
• Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents and coordinate nursing care with services provided by other disciplines.
• Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
