About The Position

The Hourly Associate operates various injection molding machines to produce quality products that meet production standards and are shipped to end consumers. This permanent first-shift role follows a 2-2-3 schedule, working 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. with every other weekend off. Employees must remain on the day shift. Starting pay is $20 per hour, with a pay increase every six months. Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record at previous jobs are required. The position is located at 458 Second Avenue, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, and reports to the shift process technician.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods.
• Basic math skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to regularly lift heavy boxes.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong attendance at previous jobs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
• Visually inspect and sort items to ensure they are defect-free.
• Prepare products through deburring and cleaning to meet product standards.
• Inspect and pack products according to standards.
• Maintain and clean the work area and equipment, keeping them organized and orderly.
• Provide accurate production reports and scrap counts at the end of the shift.
• Communicate important job information with the previous shift.
• Communicate issues to team leaders and supervisors.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
