About The Position

The Cook prepares and serves food at Paris Cafe in an airport concession environment. The role follows recipes and product directions, food-safety and sanitation practices, and brand standards to support operational excellence and guest satisfaction. The Cook helps maintain an orderly, hazard-free kitchen and delivers a first-class experience to travelers.

Responsibilities

Prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, portion, and serve food items in accordance with recipes and product directions.
Follow production preparation lists and maintain accurate records.
Requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Wash, slice, and peel items on the preparation list.
Store prepared food safely and label it with dates.
Follow brand standards for food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
Comply with food-safety and sanitation practices and applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Restock kitchen supplies and food items needed for service.
Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by the supervisor.
Report equipment repair and maintenance needs to management.
Monitor proper rotation and dating of prepared food and storage areas.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards.
Create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public.
