About The Position

Paradies Lagardère is hiring a Cook for Paris Cafe in its airport retail and dining environment. The Cook prepares and serves food according to recipes, product directions, and brand standards, while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and an orderly kitchen. The position supports supply and equipment needs and contributes to positive guest experiences for travelers.

Requirements

Ability to use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Ability to follow recipes and food preparation directions.
Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare, season, cook, taste, carve, portion, and serve food according to recipes and product directions.
Follow the production prep list and maintain accurate records.
Requisition supplies and equipment as needed; regularly restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service.
Use knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Wash, slice, and peel items on the prep list.
Store prepared food safely and apply proper date labels; monitor food rotation, dating, and storage areas.
Follow brand standards for food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.
Maintain excellent food safety and sanitation practices and comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Assist with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by the supervisor.
Report equipment repair and maintenance needs to management.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards.
