About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a service-oriented Cook to prepare food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets. The Cook maintains sanitation and food-safety standards, keeps storage areas clean and organized, handles and stores food properly, and rotates inventory. The role also works with a manager on specials and menu variations and performs other duties as assigned. The position is tipped eligible.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is required.
Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, sanitation and workplace safety regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines.
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts.
Ability to multitask.
Team-player attitude.

Nice To Haves

High school education preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility.
Ensure food is properly handled and stored at the conclusion of the shift.
Keep food storage areas organized and clean.
Rotate inventory properly.
Prepare food to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banquets.
Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars.
Work with the manager to create specials and other menu variations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
