About The Position

The Cook prepares and supervises food across the hotel’s restaurant, café, room service, employee cafeteria, and banquet outlets. The role supports efficient kitchen operations and ensures food meets standards for quality, portioning, presentation, sanitation, and safety. The Cook helps lead and assist kitchen staff, communicates professionally with coworkers and guests, resolves operational issues, and manages time to keep food preparation and service prompt. The position is based at Four Points by Sheraton Orlando International Drive, a high-energy hospitality property serving leisure, theme-park, and business guests.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience, or culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
Food Handlers Certification required, in compliance with state requirements.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain composure, evaluate situations quickly, and determine an appropriate course of action.
Strong communication skills, including active listening and the ability to convey ideas and solutions effectively.
