About The Position

Responsible for preparing food for patients, associates, and other guests. Reviews menus and customer orders to determine the types and quantities of food to prepare. The role includes preparing and serving daily menu-cycle items at the grill and deli station, maintaining cafeteria supplies and cleanliness, and responding to customer needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of experience in cooking or a relevant area.
Experience using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware.

Responsibilities

Attends department meetings, monthly in-services, training classes, and other assigned sessions.
Meets customer needs and takes appropriate steps to address issues.
Maintains stock and replenishes cafeteria items as needed according to department standards.
Maintains cleanliness of the cafeteria, serving areas, and tray return areas, and ensures equipment is sanitized.
Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude.
Prepares and serves daily menu-cycle items for the grill and deli station.
Cleans and stocks the work area after each meal.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
