About The Position

Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a PRN Cook/Dietary Aide to provide food services for patients, employees, and visitors. The role prepares food in compliance with strict safety standards, creates menus, and orders supplies for the hospital kitchen and cafeteria. The Cook/Dietary Aide is expected to integrate the hospital’s mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.

Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is an inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina, serving patients across the Lakelands region. It provides rehabilitation services for conditions including stroke and neurological injuries, post-surgical orthopedic needs, and trauma recovery. Requirements

• Food Handlers License required.
• Knowledge of patient diets, safe food-handling requirements, and use of the Nutritional Care Manual.
• Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
• Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection-control standards.
