About The Position

Responsible for the main preparation function at a production kitchen for meals served to students and staff in accordance with USDA and local guidelines. Includes preparation of food, clean-up, and record keeping. Assists with preparation, meal service, and clean-up procedures for nutritious and attractive meals served to students and adults according to USDA Child Nutrition program guidelines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Basic math skills, including computer applications experience.
  • Certification with the American Food Service Association at Level 1 within one year of date of hire.
